They are shaped like a teardrop and range in color from brown-gray to bluish-silver. Since they are nocturnal, you may not see them often, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t around.

2. Silverfish Droppings

Silverfish droppings are fairly unique, so it’s useful to know and can sometimes be helpful to identify them. Their droppings resemble small, black peppercorns and are found in areas where silverfish frequent like kitchens, basements, garages, wardrobes and drawers. Without careful examination, silverfish droppings could be easily missed or brushed aside as general dust or debris.
